84 Charing Cross Road -September 6th, 2012
Just as Helen, I love books. I really enjoyed this movie because I think it goes beyond the letters she wrote and the books she read. It's all about bonding with other human beings that aren't necessarily in our same country. I think she had this huge passion for reading, she indirectly communicated with authors, she read what they thought, what they stood for and what they lived for. That's the amazing thing about books, you get to know the thoughts of people from other time, other culture, other country. I even think that what's amazing aren't books themselves, but communication and the capacity of expressing our ideas and thoughts by language. I learned that every single person is able and free to write, to express and to communicate with others.
