RHETORIC WORKSHOP
How can we improve our communication skills?
We made a 1-2 minute monologue sharing our life. I noticed that I have certain accent while speaking, I lack eye-contact and I repeat words a lot.
GEB EPICYCLE: ROBERTO BLUM
Did religion have an impact on the physicists? Catholic, Descartes; protestant, Newton; jew, Einstein. Does our religion influences our process of thought? The environment also influences the intellectual/moral climate. Can we jump outside our system? Outside ourselves? Sometimes I feel trapped in my mind or in my consciousness because I can't really pop-out. What means to loop? It means that you get inside a "circle", from which you can't get out because you cannot stop thinking about certain thing. What happens when we die? Do we stop thinking? What happens with all those minds? Do they go back to God or to the "everything"? Our mind is a very complex idea to conceive. Can we imagine something that is totally unrelated to reality? Do we have universal experiences? "I never will be someone else and someone else will never be me". How are we sure?

REFLECTION OF THE WEEK
How do we know if what we know it's true? I think that no one knows truth, we are all assuming or taking a leap of faith in order to be sane. Our vision about what is truth is very limited or narrowed, we have limits. We are not sure what to expect about truth, but still our spirit is to keep on seeking, learning, exploring and discovering. I think we might get there someday, we don't have to give up.

LEARNING PROCESSES
On Dialogue
- Use all your senses.
- Dialogue is serious.
- Find coherence.
- No hierarchy, all integrants of the group are participants.
- Dialogue is a collective way of opening up judgments and assumptions.
- It has to be a free environment.
- Fellowship: try to understand each other.
- Independent thought, understanding each other to create a collective thought.
- Suspend your own thoughts to understand the other.
FIRE IN THE EQUATIONS
- Our mathematical understanding arouse through evolution
- Are we constantly adapting theories or conceptions to be more approximated or near truth?
- How we see the universe doesn't necessarily mean it's the way it is.
- Can discovery and creating coexist?
- We can't prove that God exists, and neither prove that it doesn't.
EUCLID
- Working on Book II, I'm loving it!
CELEBRATE WHAT'S RIGHT
- We are making meaningful questions
- We are calling for pauses when we don't understand something
- Proactivity
- We are living a very human experience
HOW CAN WE FIX WHAT'S WRONG?
- Eye-contact
- We have to be more engaged in the dialogues
- We have to work on rubric 4: acknowledge, understand and construct.
- Embrace feedback
- Outer-circle rubrics
- Be proprioceptive, don't take things personal
